Software licensing
Gradatimo is proprietary software owned and developed by Ian Manseau. It is distributed free of charge for personal, educational, professional, and commercial use, without subscriptions or mandatory accounts.
Gradatimo is not open-source software. Except as expressly authorized in writing or permitted by applicable law or third-party component licenses, users may not redistribute or sell copies of the Gradatimo application or its installers, modify or rebrand proprietary portions of the software, or reverse-engineer proprietary components. To share Gradatimo with others, direct them to https://gradatimo.com.
Ownership of user-created content
Users retain the intellectual property rights they hold in original content created in or imported into Gradatimo—including screenshots, imported photographs, lesson structures, and written instructions. Gradatimo claims no ownership over your instructional materials, and you may publish, distribute, license, or sell your exported guides without paying royalties, while remaining responsible for any third-party material depicted in your work.
Export attribution
PDF and HTML publications generated by Gradatimo include a small, unobtrusive “Made with Gradatimo” attribution featuring the official Gradatimo wordmark. You may freely distribute and sell generated publications provided this attribution is retained when distributing the publication substantially in its generated form. This attribution applies to generated publications, not to your underlying original text, photographs, or artwork when used independently.
Application & website privacy
Gradatimo is designed around local storage: your .gradatimo project files, captured screenshots, and exported files are saved to local folders you choose rather than uploaded to a Gradatimo cloud service.
This website (gradatimo.com) is a static site that loads no third-party analytics scripts, advertising pixels, external web fonts, or tracking cookies. Standard web hosting infrastructure may process basic HTTP request data (such as IP address, requested URL, and browser user agent) for security and content delivery in accordance with the hosting provider’s policies.
Third-party components & trademarks
Gradatimo incorporates open-source and third-party software components governed by their respective licenses, which are included in the application’s Third-Party Software Notices. Product screenshots and demonstrations on this website (such as Adobe InDesign) are shown solely to illustrate how Gradatimo documents software workflows; all third-party product names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
